Indicating the Pupillary Distance measurement ensures that the optical centers of your lenses will be placed at the correct position on your frame. You will find this measurement on your eyeglasses passport (if any) or you can ask your eye doctor about your Pupilary Distance (PD). From the typical instruction "PD: 34/32" results a Pupilary Distance for the right eye of 34 mm and for the left eye of 32 mm. The first value always means the right, the second value the left eye. Often the distance for the right and left eye is identical or becomes a roundet value summarized; for example "PD: 66 mm". In this case it has to be given to 33 mm for the right eye as well as 33 mm for the left eye. |

On this no precise answer can be given. Only your eye doctor can decide the frequency of your eye examinations. |
